About The Charities Saltare Foundation for the Arts (Mission Statement): To reach out into the community beyond the formal setting of traditional venues and help make the heart and soul of the Arts a universal form of communication more accessible to a wider audience. To create a space in which individuals can explore creativity within. To give professional artists and teachers the opportunity to reach out to a broader and more challenging audience through performance, exhibits, workshops, classes and sharings. To promote a space in which individuals, regardless of their experience, financial standing or age, have the opportunity to explore the Arts. To demonstrate that the Arts are not a luxury, but a necessity.

Bethany House (Mission Statement): To serve the needs of the community by providing adequate food, clothing, and shelter in a nurturing and sustaining environment. To strengthen and assist those women and children from Long Island who are deprived of the basic resources required for natural, healthy growth and development.

Anti-Defamation League (Mission Statement): The Anti-Defamation League is one of the nation's oldest and most respected civil rights/human relations organizations. The League was founded in Chicago in 1913 by a group of proud American Jews, drawn together in anger over rampant anti-Semitism and incensed by the arrest of Leo Frank, an innocent Jewish man who was later lynched based on false murder charges. Transforming their outrage into constructive action, they created the Anti-Defamation League, dedicated, as stated in it's 1913 charter of incorporation: -To stop the defamation of Jewish People -To secure justice and fair treatment for all citizens alike Today, the ADL's goals remain the same, adapting to new challenges and needs in changing times.
